Green building

Green building has become very important, and a lot of people care passionately about it. I see it as a growing trend. Young professionals have a big influence on green design. Sustainable design will become even more important as manufacturers develop products to respond to the market place; the generation spending the money is going to drive this effort.

We have a lot of recent graduates who are young design associates and they have brought to Slifer Designs a passion for offering environmentally sustainable options, both in architecture and in residential design. This involves all aspects of design, from selecting fabrics, carpeting and furniture made from renewable resources to looking at the building materials. Our experience and expertise in LEEDS accredited design is a fun and worthy challenge.

We look forward to working on more green projects in the future as the demand continues to grow.
